Application consultant electro-optical (transceiver) test - Center Of Expertise (m/f/d)
Aufgaben:
As a member of the Center Of Expertise (COE) team, you will consult customers and account teams across all regions on the implementation of cost-efficient test solutions for electro-optical devices such as next-generation, highly-integrated SiPh/CPO transceivers on the V93000 ATE system, including optical measurement instruments, and optical probing & handling equipment
Identify and define emerging test requirements for electro-optical transceivers following leading edge industry trends such as the wide adoption of silicon photonics, and co-packaged optics
Design and implement test methodologies for optical and electrical characterization of silicon photonics components and integrated circuits
Team up with R&D and the product definition team on defining economic test solutions for electro-optical transceiver devices
Prepare and execute pre-sales activities like customer presentations and benchmark projects
Drive the roll-out of new V93000 electro-optical test solutions to the world-wide customer base
Stay current with advancements in silicon photonics and optical technologies
Qualifikationen:
Master's Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent (ideally with the focus on optics/opto-electronics)
Proven expert knowledge on optical measurements of electro-optical devices including proficient usage of required test instrumentation
(e.g. lasers, power meters, switches, attenuators, OSA, optical DSO etc.), fiber and connector assemblies, device probing/handling equipment & test automation
Familiar with Linux operating system and Java programming language, experience with data analysis tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB)
Want: experience with automated testing of CMOS devices, in particular, on V93000 ATE platform
Insights into silicon photonics high-volume manufacturing processes and test approaches, typical device architectures (such as MZI, MRR, couplers etc.) incl. their characteristics and dependencies (e.g. on polarization, wavelength)
Excellent English language, communication, and presentation skills
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
Ability to lead projects / project management skills
Proactive, self-disciplined, and highly motivated
Distinguished customer facing skills with a pronounced support attitude
Ability and motivation to work in cross-functional project teams in a global environment/good team player
Flexible for international travel (up to 20%)
