Prepare and execute monthly payroll for all employees in collaboration with the external payroll provider Development and improvement of payroll procedures, processes, and systems Lead and ensure payroll processing, from data collection in close collaboration with HR operations to final approval together with the coordination of the payroll processing Responsible of payroll data quality by working closely with all inputs' providers (Absence, Benefits, Insurance, Health, Pension, Company Car, etc.) to ensure timely and completeness before payroll processing Awareness of changes to current payroll legislation to advise the business on necessary changes Run and oversees payroll-related controls: ensure they are performed on time and act as primary point of contact for audits. Ensure all tax at source submissions are handled accurately Act as a bridging link between Finance/Controlling and HR, Support finance with payroll account reconciliations Compile end of year tax declarations Follow up of intercompany cross charges partnering with Finance Oversees amounts/deductions calculations and implementation together with their distribution to the various accounts are accurate Oversees monthly/yearly accounting closing partnering with Finance/Controlling Oversees monthly/yearly declarations are timely submitted by local payroll providers and for any other country obligations. Prepare the annual budget together with Senior Director HR Responsible for all local tax and regulatory filings In charge of the general HR reporting Ensures accuracy in the interface with local organizations as local tax offices, LPP institution, AVS Ensures communication with insurance brokers. External audit management in close collaboration with Controlling, Finance and payroll provider Performance Management: Management of online Performance Management program «Sapphire» (Cornerstone program) Update and launch the tasks (all performance review cycles) Management of the compensation module Develop the Performance Management program Mobility: Management of online mobility application (Fairpark software) Distribution of parking spots Exchange with facility management for correct deduction Lifecycle Management HR: Process and follow-up employee lifecycle (onboarding, transfer and leave related tasks) Follow up on trial period Preparation of work contracts and amendments Preparation of attestations / certificates Preparation of work certificates Provide support and advice to employee's queries related to HR processes and guidelines Administration: Ensure administrative excellence of benefits operations (payroll, bonus, ESOP calculations, family allowances, sickness, accidents, etc.) Be the HR point of contact for employees, providing advice and guidance about HR Administration Absence Management: Manage absences (vacation, sick/accident leaves, military service, maternity leaves, etc.) Announce sick/accident leaves to proper insurances Administration of the time recording system (Abacus software) Invoices: Management of all non-PO HR related invoices Coordination of invoices from different insurances, payroll provider and finance Duty Travel: First point of contact for Travel expenses submission software (Concur) Other Tasks: Participation in HR projects
Bachelor's degree (Brevet or Diploma) in HR, Finance, or related field Excellent knowledge of Swiss payroll, insurances, and social contributions At least five (5) years of experience in Swiss Compensation & Benefits, preferably on system Abacus Profound knowledge of Swiss labor law Experiences with externalized payroll provider if possible experience with Abacus payroll system Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken (B2-C1), German an asset Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills with an eye for detail High level of service orientation and autonomy
