The Senior Group Accountant (m/f) also acts as the main reference person and expert for any IFRS related topics. Manages the Group consolidation process, reviewing consolidation journals and adjustments and other ad-hoc group related entries. Reviews consolidated results and prepares the management reporting and supplementary schedules for external reporting. Interface for internal and external stakeholders on consolidation issues. Ensures financial data reliability through plausibility checks on comprised and delivered data; works on IFRS specific topics. Prepares ad-hoc reporting on the basis of specific needs (e.g. country specific reporting packages, controlling report schedule, board reporting). Carries out special projects to optimize and standardize the accounting processes on group and country level (e.g. align and establish new IFRS standards). Supports and consults local country finance organizations in order to facilitate or enable group reporting.

For this rapidly growing innovative company we are searching : The Senior Group Accountant prepares the monthly and annual reports on a countrywide level for the entire Group. The Senior Group Accountant (m/f) also acts as the main reference person and expert for any IFRS related topics. Manages the Group consolidation process, reviewing consolidation journals and adjustments and other ad-hoc group related entries. Supports and consults local country finance organizations in order to facilitate or enable group reporting.  You have: a University Degree in Business studies with focus on finance You have a minimum of 7 years professional experience in group accounting. You bring in expert knowledge in International accounting (IFRS) and project management. You have very good knowledge of consolidation software, ideally IDL . You have good analytical and conceptual skills with a high degree of initiative, self-responsibility and teamwork. You have a very good command of English and can communicate effectively in an international environment.  Spanish and/or German language skills are an advantage.
