Lead Power System Engineer (m/w/d)

Degree in Electrical Engineering with power systems specialization At least seven years of relevant experience You have in-depth knowledge of power network simulations in the following fields: Grid Integration Studies Steady state studies Dynamic and transient simulations Grid Code compliance Power quality studies/harmonics studies and filter design Software experience in DIgSilent PowerFactory, PSS/E, NEPLAN, ETAP and/or PSCAD Experience in the following fields would be of benefit: Energy System Master Planning with PLEXOS Grid connection of Renewable Energy Plants and Large Scale Battery Storage Systems (BESS) High Voltage and Extra High Voltage Systems Knowledge of the typical components of high- and medium voltage systems Power system protection, schemes and devices You are fluent in English, Proficiency in German or French is a benefit Previous experience of working in a consulting environment would be a benefit You are used to working flexibly, independently and reliably in a team You focus on quality and ensuring excellence of deliverables for both project reports and proposals You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in particular considering email correspondence, technical report writing and presentations You are able to work in a fast-paced environment, often working on multiple projects at any one time. We serve projects in worldwide locations so the ideal candidate will be comfortable with travelling internationally for meetings and/or presentations
