As an Operations Director, you are responsible for driving Manufacturing standards to meet industry best levels, turning Manufacturing into a truly competitive advantage for the business and exceeding customers expectations, whilst meeting financial and operational targets. These currently include operations in North/South America, Europe and Asia In addition to delivering the budgeted monthly operating profits, key KPIs consist of: HS&E, 5S, absenteeism, PPMs, Lean deployment, CNQ (scrap, extra inspection, rework), waste, RFT, OEE, labour efficiency, overtime, inventory, premium freight, OTIF supply, energy consumption. You are maintaining and consistently further enhancing lasting operational excellence,aiming for highest levels of standardization, sharing of best practices, evolving process technology in closest cooperation with Process Engineering, optimizing layouts and material flows as well as implementing most effective TPM processes and routines to further improve OEEs. You will ensure that we further mature the relationships with the customer plants at operation levels. You will oversee the total manufacturing footprint and ensure it will stay in line with customer requirements at an affordable level. You work effectively with your peers in the Division Leadership Team, whichrepresent Quality, CoE Launch, Finance (incl. Costing), H.R., Business Process Excellence, Product & Process Engineering, Sourcing, Customer Business Units and Business Development Unit. You drive employee engagement in all facilities through frequent and open communication, recognition and a culture inviting for employee contribution.

Report Line: Report to BU President  Current key members of your team will be the Plant Managers, the Manager of Equipment Standards & Capacity Management as well as the Manager of HS&E. Standard functions within each plant include: Operations, HS&E, Supply, H.R., Finance, Manufacturing Excellence, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering (including Maintenance), Sourcing, Launch Competencies: Min 15 years of leadership experience with global manufacturing sites Ability to lead, plan and manage change, able to balance between the urgent and theimportant issues Willing and eager to make a difference every day Passionate about Manufacturing Excellence and ultimate product quality Passionate about HS&E and 5S Strong track-record of delivering financial and operational results Taking initiative, self-motivated Strong organizational and management skills Ability to network effectively, both internally and externally Ability to communicate effectively in different cultures around the world In depth knowledge and experience within the Automotive Industry Fluent English speaker, German/French a bonus Jetzt bewerben * Die Recruiter Benchmark stellt einen Orientierungswert dar.
