HSE Manager Project Management (m/f/d)
Aufgaben:
The HSE Manager is authorized and expected to take the necessary measures to guarantee health, safety and environmental protection on our wind farm projects in line with country regulations. In detail, you will coordinate the external HSE consultancies involved in project management (PM), audit and track HSE implementation in the wind farm projects and report to the HSE Director on the performance and achieved level of implementation. This high-profile position will provide coaching and guidance to the General Project Managers and teams and encourage them to develop and improve HSE standards in the wind farm projects. Supervise the implementation of ENERCON HSE processes in all projects in progress in the assigned country or geographical area Maintain open communication with the Project Director(s) and country teams to ensure alignment as well as consistent implementation of ENERCON HSE processes and local legal requirements Analyze HSE reports from the projects, gather and report data on HSE performance (metrics), plan execution and audit corrective actions and incidents Prepare communications (i.e. alerts) to disseminate incidents, lessons learned and best practices Coach and support the teams in creating a proactive HSE culture Perform regular site visits and coachings in the field Coordinate the external HSE service providers involved in project management
Qualifikationen:
The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of hazards on site, a strong interest in communication and collaboration with different departments - but most importantly a passion for all aspects of safety. University degree in engineering studies, e.g. as a safety engineer or safety technician, alternatively comparable professional qualifications and relevant professional experience in managerial positions in the area of occupational safety / HSE / ESH (ideally experience in the wind industry) Strong knowledge of the laws, regulations, technical rules and standards relevant to occupational safety Experience and enjoyment in a management role overseeing safety programs, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, coordinate, analyze and develop Self-initiative and independent working style with ownership and accountability Ability to communicate to specific target groups (English skills are helpful) Strong hands-on mentality and willingness to travel as well as intercultural awareness
