Senior Software Engineer C++ (m/f/d)
Aufgaben:
As R&D Engineer (m/f/d) you will be part of an agile Scrum Team, developing software for the 93K IC Test platform
This team is responsible for defining, designing, implementing, and testing new customer-facing features in C++
This includes working with customers to understand their use cases, propose and implement new solutions to leading edge technology problems
You will work with state-of-the-art tools and development environments to deliver new functionality with a strong focus on quality
Working independently within an agile team and embracing agile principles is the kind of environment that suits you
You will develop C++ algorithms using a modern toolchain on high-performance Linux workstations
Creating innovative C++ solutions that bring measurable value to customers in a highly demanding and technology-driven domain
Qualifikationen:
University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Extensive experience as a C++ Software Developer
Structured approach to problem analysis and problem solving
Strong analytical thinking and data evaluation skills, combined with effective problem-solving strategies
Motivation to work in an agile environment
Good knowledge of Linux / Unix systems
Advanced/strong programming skills in C++17 or newer
In-depth understanding of software design principles and methodologies
Profound knowledge of object-oriented software development practices and tools
Strong commitment to quality
Excellent communication skills
Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with the Scrum software development process
Experience working on large-scale software systems
Familiarity with the Git version control system
Good understanding of integrated circuits (ICs) and electronic measurement technology
Good German language skills
Ideally you already have experience in software development with multiple teams. We also expect practical knowledge in object oriented analysis and design, including UML modeling and design patterns.
