Assume main responsibility for our Central West Europe (CWE) electricity market modelling and price view Update price forecast in the short-term, mid-term and long-term horizons Develop market models and related processes Prepare and present fundamental power and commodity market analyses, providing valuable input for decision-making in production and consumption optimization, hedging, and trading activities Contribute to energy commodity analysis with a focus in gas and carbon markets, depending on your experience and interest The position holder will report to Team Leader, Market Analysis.

Qualifikationen:

You have a university degree in engineering, math, physics or economics You have some years of work experience from a relevant field, for example from CWE electricity markets, energy commodity markets, data science, mathematical modelling or optimisation You master the basics of data science and the principles in the electricity and energy commodity markets You are motivated, able to learn and see the big picture You have great communication, co-operation and presentation skills You have experience in data science (Python, SQL), fundamental simulation software (Plexos), and visualisation platforms (PowerBI) You are fluent in English ; knowledge of German would be valuable
